1. Dubya continues to prove...
...what all of us have known all along; he is unbeatable in any debate format, town hall or otherwise.

We should be worried about Friday. This could be the final straw for Kerry.

2. The Bar Has Been Set VERY High for Little Boy George
he and everyone (even the pundits) know he HAS to hit a grandslam. A homerun is not nearly enough to stop Kerry's momentum.

There's no way that idiot is going to come up with enough intelligent answers and one line zingers to make up for the embarrassment of last Thursday.

No way in hell..

7. Kerry Really doesn't need to resort to "zingers", but if he throws a
couple in here and there it will only pad his lead.

10. Kerry can't possibly
win. All Kerry has is "zingers" and "talking points". That's it! NO Substance, NO Truth, all the time flip flops. This won't work in a debate format. :puffpiece:

6. I must confess
that I only equate him with Goober in my sig line because I wish it were the case; were I to be truthful in my portrayal, I would photoshop him onto Churchill. If he kicks into his Churchill mode tomorrow, it's over for Kerry.
:scared:

14. Yes w does really bring Churchill to mind.
And Bush has that new powerful stump speech with new zingers to use against Kerry. Kerry got lucky in the first debate but he might as well write the second off right now because we all know what a great debater w is.
It wouldn't be fair for Kerry to bring up the chimp's father in the debate and if he does he should automatically be disqualified. We all know hjow quick w is on his feet and what a quick wit he has. Kerry should not even bother to show up.

Which is it?

If you are a pervert, my apologies for calling you a pervert.

If you are a repuke, my condolences.

13. Try as he might, the little freak cannot stay focused for 90 minutes
He will eventually look tired and antsy to get out of there and in the last half hour not even be able to fill his alotted time (like the other debate--I mean, he has nothing but a few sound bites to keep rolling over and over). The trick for Kerry (and he did this so well in first debate) is to look energized all the way to the end. In other words, a man who has tons to say to the American people.

16. Don't be too sure...
It may have looked like Kerry won the first one. But those views are through our "Kerry Colored Glasses". Bush has never lost a debate on substance and the issues that matter the most.

15. Bush is a moron
He proved it September 30 to all of the doubters. He won't grow a brain in 10 days, look for more babbling and simple minded utterances, and nothing more. The only risk is that his handlers come up with some piece of information that is a zinger to Kerry that can be packaged into a sound bite to be repeated by the media ad naseum.

17. Bush is shrewd, indeed
he makes up new words as he goes along and uses existing words out of context to only trip up his opponent and throw them off track with their own clear, unmuddled thoughts.

We don't have a chance...

Runaway...

27. What can he say?
Consider that this is a debate with questions from the audience (and no, I don't believe the audience will be stacked or the moderator biased or the questions leaked in advance). They won't focus on issues the questioner thinks the audience should consider; they'll ask questions important to them, and more specifically, questions about PROBLEMS important to them (if you think everything's going great, you're not undecided or "soft").

For any question, Bush has only three choices:

He can agree with the problem, which would require that he acknowledge making mistakes, which he's psychologically unable to do;

He can disagree with the problem and continue with his optimistic pronoucements, which will make him look (like his father) completely out of touch with the average vote; or

He can ignore the problem and talk about something unrelated, which is likely to offend the questioner and make him look evasive.

Kerry's task is going to be to call the President on any of his evasions or lies, but also to personalize his answers and responses, and not sound to0 legal and senatorial. At this point, I think he's up to the game.
