Did Barbara Walters REALLY tell Edwards he couldn't talk about politics?!?
A couple of earlier threads about Rupert Everett (on the same episode of the View as Edwards today) mentioned that, after Everett begged Americans to change administrations, Walters shut him up by saying that she even told John Edwards not to talk about politics.

Is this how it happened?

Is she INSANE?

That's worse than Diane Sawyer trying to get Nataile Portman to cover up her Kerry t-shirt with a plant! They can have some pundit blab on about Kerry (or Bush) all day, but they won't even let a CANDIDATE talk POLITICS?!?

2. Oh, we gals don't need to fill our pretty heads with that stuff!
Politics is for menfolk! We ladies prefer to talk about household matters, exchange recipes, discuss new lipstick shades to keep ourselves pretty for our men so they won't abandon us, as well as how to deal with uppity house servants. I'm so glad that 'The View' respects that about we members of the fairer sex!
:puke:

4. Would be unfair to allow Edwards to contribute substance when Cheney
is at an undisclosed location far away from regular people.

As long as Edwards displays no 'gravitas,' he may be allowed to speak.
