Is Clinton going to make a comeback? |
|
When will his rest period end from the surgery? Or will he sit the entire election out just to be safe?
We could use him now. Add to our momentum.

1. I'm predicting it right now: |

A "triumphant surprise return" to the campaign trail in the last week of october: Kerry, Edwards, their families, and Clinton all on stage together. The photo will be splashed on front pages of newspapers across the country, and cable news networks will cover the speech.. assuming that they don't have "sound problems."

Other than that, I'm not sure.

Got my head handed to me a few weeks ago when I suggested he should arise from his sick bet and 'win this one for us.' Soooo...only if his doctor says so. What a moment of high drama, what an impact. American politics has never seen anything like that. Wounded party elder struggles from his sick bed to aid the party. I'd nominate Clinton for sainthood!
Clinton needs to think long and hard about this for his own health reasons.

5. He'll Be Back...And Just In Time |
|
There's no way even a heavily sedated Bill Clinton would miss out on what's happening. If anything, he's gotta be chompin' and my bets are a lot of advice is burning up telephone lines from Chattaqua to Mike McCurry, Joe Lockhart, Jim Carville and the usual suspects. If you look closely, this campaign has gotten very "Clinton smart" lately...I'm sure that includes regular consulting with the Big Dog himself.
Personally, I'd love to see Bill make an appearance at the final ACT Concert on Monday in Washington...just a waive and I'm sure the place will go nuts.
There's momentum building and nothing would bring us together down the stretch and piss off the wingnuts more than a good Bill Clinton speech.
Cheers!
