A Potential Debate Trap...
After Kerry and Clinton in their respective debates reminded Papa Bush and Baby Bush that they didn't measure up to their fathers I have to believe Chimpy has been prepped with a canned response....

A word to the wise is sufficient...

1. But do you think the coWard is capable of learning his lessons?
I do think Poppy is the coWard's sore spot, and at the very least, references to "how he didn't measure up" to his father can be effective in unnerving him.

2. Bush Is Stupid But Even He Is Not That Stupid....
If I'm smart enough to figure this out I am sure the Kerry people are....

Sometimes the candidate ignores his handlers.. I was watching a program on presidential and vice presidential debates last night and they said Quayle's handlers told him not to compare himself with John Kennedy and he ignored them...

The rest is history....

3. that's because Robert Redford told Quayle to stop comparing himself to him
...to Robert Redford, that is. The dumbass republican thought he was so wise and so physically attractive that he would say he was the "Robert Redford of the Senate". Redford told Quayle to shut up or he will get sued for using his name. Quayle shut up.

5. Canned response is ok - idea is to make Shrub angry as a result of
Oedipal anxieties - he can't prepare for that - It the very least, it will trigger an episode of eye blinking. Or maybe he will shout "Let me finish!" for no apparent reason.

6. Time to Bring Up Prescott Bush - Traitor and War Profiteer

I don't know why the media won't touch the historical fact that Union Banking Corp., which Prescott Bush managed in the 1930s and early 1940s, had their assets seized in 1942 under the Trading With the Enemies Act? The scumbag was a war profiteer and should have gone to the gallows, instead of fathering Poppy, who fathered (maybe) the most incompetent (p)resident in American history.

Do you think the Republican Party would keep a lid on this information, if Bill Clinton's grandpa helped finance the Nazi war machine? GIVE ME A FRIGGIN' BREAK!!!!

They should also point out Poppy illegally arming Saddam in the first place, selling government property illegally to Iran (one of the Axis of Evil, per Chimpy) and converting those funds (which belonged to the American people) into arms for the Contras - another war profiteering deal, and Poppy sitting on the Board of Carlyle Corp., while his idiot son invades Afghanistan and hands out huge contracts to United Defense and other Carlyle investments.

THE ENTIRE BUSH CLAN SHOULD GO TO THE GALLOWS!!!
