Holy Mother of God!! David Kay (YES THAT DAVID KAY!) Slaughters Bushco!!!!
Folks, allow me to be the first one to apologize PROFUSELY to Mr. Kay for EVER saying he was a Bushco. stooge. This is a man who has now earned my utmost respect. To do this, he is putting EVERYTHING on the line. WOW!!! :wow:

Read the whole thing. This is an amazing article.

Bush administration in denial about lack of Iraq WMD: Kay

WASHINGTON (AFP) - President George W. Bush (news - web sites)'s administration is in denial over the lack of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (news - web sites) before the US-led invasion in 2003, ex-chief US arms inspector David Kay said.

A report by the Iraq Survey Group that Kay ran until he quit at the start of the year found Iraq had no chemical, biological or nuclear weapons when Bush was saying that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) was a growing threat.

The White House has insisted Saddam was a threat to the United States and had weapons of mass destruction capability, but Kay told NBC television: "All I can say is 'denial' is not just a river in Egypt."

"The report is scary enough without misrepresenting what it says," he added.

5. It makes me nervous . . .
when someone so close to the administration makes claims that there were NEVER any WMD's in Iraq. Here's why: If we are faced with a terrorist attack in the coming weeks involving biological or nuclear materials, Bush & Co can now say, "Well, we didn't fail to contain these materials in Iraq because they never existed." How convenient. Anyone else thinking along these lines? Sounds like the administration is covering their a$$. I think they are preparing for an October surprise--and by looking at the polls with Kerry on the rise, they need something big.

9. If We Get Hit Again
Edited on Thu Oct-07-04 01:33 PM by Beetwasher
It's Bush's fault. End of story. The ONLY thing he has right now is that we haven't been hit again. If we get hit again it's game over because the Dems will no longer give him a pass like they did on 9/11. They WILL lay the blame right at his feet.

Bush has failed to do ANYTHING about nuclear proliferation around the ENTIRE planet, not just Iraq. K/E have been HAMMERING Bushco. on this point.

19. How would we know if we were hit again???????????
Except for eyewitnesses that would be immediately discredited by the media,we can't depend on the main stream media to tell us the truth about anything anymore (except the weather).

26. Oh, but Bush has immunized himself from that.
The Bushists have already put out the word that terrorists might attack just to make Bush look bad, so if they do attack, to hold it against Bush would be to do what the terrorists want.

I hate those people so fucking much.

3. Important lines Kerry can use from the article
But Kay told CNN television "Right now we have a lot of people who are desperate to justify the Bush administration's decision to go to war with Iraq.

"They will focus on issues such as intent. You will also hear that although we haven't found the weapons or manufacturing capability, they could have been shipped across the border. You can't ship that which you haven't produced. You can't bury that which you haven't obtained or produced."

"Look, Saddam was delusional. He had a lot of intent. He wanted to be Saladin the Great, of the Middle East yet again. He wanted to put Iraq in a preeminent position to remove the US from the region," Kay added.

"He had a lot of intent. He didn't have capabilities. Intent without capabilities is not an imminent threat."

6. The people that Bush fucked over are exacting their vengance.
They're all providing damaging information in the last month before the election. It's no coincidence that it's all happening during the week of the political debates, either. They know damn well that Kerry will throw this stuff in Bush's face at the debates, and they want to see the little piggy squeal.

Can't say as I blame them, though. Bush jeopardized (and in some cases ruined) their careers to save his ass and cover up for his NeoCon agenda. These weren't even mistakes. They were deliberate efforts to ignore the facts and pursue and ideology that has caused the United States to have the largest credibility gap it has suffered in the past hundred years.

It's frustating when you tell someone they are making a mistake, and they go ahead and make it anyway. It's insulting when they turn around and blame you for not warning them. And it's bittersweet irony when they finally get called out for it.

7. THE TIME HAS COME: With this Kerry can officially start saying:
"Either the President is living in a fantasy world or he is actively attempting to mislead the American public. Either way, we can no longer trust him as President of this great nation."

Just short of calling him a liar, but it's 100% valid.

12. It was not an intelligence failure, it was a failure to use the
intelligence. They created their own intelligence than showed it to Kerry and the congress. The argument that Kerry saw the same intelligence can be debunked by making the Office of Special Operations a talking point now!

Kerry saw fabricated evidence. Bushco saw the real evidence and did not pay attention to it because it did not serve their predetermined plan to invade Iraq. All of the pieces of the puzzle are out there now. Just put them together for all the people to see and hear!

25. I don't think Bush had a failure to use the intelligence -
I don't think he saw the intelligence. I think Cheney kept it from him. Bush saw doctored intelligence. His only out is to call his own V-President a liar, replace him and turn him over to the International Courts. I feel certain they are currently considering this option.

1) It will make Bush look strong, decisive and finally/actually in charge of the White House.

2) They can get back their base who just found out that Cheney has a demon daughter.

3) It will put Senator Dole on the ticket and they can take North Carolina, Arkansas and Missouri and might help in Florida.

4) It will get the women's vote.

5) Mostly he can say - it was not my fault. Give me four more years and I will clean house at the CIA, State Department, FBI, etc.

14. Another potential talking point:
Kay lays out a great argument:

"They will focus on issues such as intent. You will also hear that although we haven't found the weapons or manufacturing capability, they could have been shipped across the border. You can't ship that which you haven't produced. You can't bury that which you haven't obtained or produced.

How many of these WMD reports have to come out publicly by weapons experts before the Republican congressmen realize that this incompetent idiot needs to be impeached? I hope their callous apathy comes back to haunt them on their election days.

22. "In denial" is a Kerry talking point. Did he really say "Denial is not
just a river in Egypt?" Carl Rove is going to be very unhappy with Mr. Kay. I guess there won't be any overnights in the Lincoln Bedroom for him, at least not until 2005.

41. Kerry missed this.
When w said that Kerry saw the same intell as he did, Kerry should have replied that he did not and briefly explained why the intell was not the same.

Powell presented lies at the UN. Tenet sat behind Powell, a seating to bolster the lies. Then the CIA became the scapegoat for faulty intell. Tenet was allowed to resign to keep him silent. Tenet could be indicted for perjury under oath to Congress but he now won't be. Tenet allowed himself and the Agency to be used and abused.

The Pres. and his Neo Fascists have committed a fraud and many War Crimes, the main crime being an illegal invasion of a sovereign country under false pretenses.
