Cheney used "Senator Gone" so Bush's 'permanent vacation' is FAIR GAME
Since Cheney thought it awfully clever to mock Edwards' Senate attendance record, I hope at tomorrow's debate, Kerry mentions that 30% of Bush's presidency has been spent "on vacation"- as in falling off his mountain bike, playing golf, fishing with Daddy and gagging on pretzels while watching football- and another 30% (probably) has been spent jetting around the country on the taxpayer's dime, attending rallies and fundraisers. So, if the lazy bastard put in 2 days out of 7 "working HARD", that'd be a STRETCH.

I wish Edwards would have used a retort along those lines when his attendance was challenged... and who the hell is Cheney to talk? He was hiding in an "undisclosed location" for a year- was he off fishing in Wyoming?

Anyway, I'd like Kerry to remind Americans that most of us lowly citizens do not get 4 months vacation out of a 12-momth year.

1. Yes, and particularly his August-Sept 2001 vacation.
After receiving the Aug. 6 PDB.

5. I think that's what the "hard work, it's hard work" was for. Pre-emptive
strike in anticipation of his slacker ways being pointed out.
