HEY......We're outraged about this speech yesterday, RIGHT ?????
Hey, why don't we jump on the opening we've been given here?

If NPR radio exposed this "speech" as his blatant attempt to stop his bleeding in the polls, why don't we shotgun email NPR to put pressure on the rest of the media to get Kerry equal time?

We're much more effective focusing our strength of email numbers on one place that has it's own power of the airwaves and can use our emails for backup.

To start a fire with a magnifying glass and the sun, you have to focus it on one spot. Us, emailing to the networks and FEC is too limited and too scattered. And any action would take too long.

NPR has already aparently felt the same outrage. They are a huge and major media broadcaster. And they're not what you'd call rabid democrats.

So let's blast them with emails and demand they take our anger about this Iraq War joke try-out speech, to their media counterparts. They have direct and powerful ability to exert pressure.

It has to be immediate if we're going to do it. It's one of our best hopes.

Are you with me?

5. Look on the national media list pinned to the board.
There are so many NPR's, I don't know which one would be the best.
Anybody else know the best to get this ball started?

8. If you watched it, you couldn't help but notice the staged cheering,
booing, etc. It was an obvious attempt to regain lost ground with an overly vocal and boisterous crowd. It was lame and didn't do him any good. It looked pathetic actually.

No action needed. Let it stand on its own merits, of which there are none.

Those things are all good. But they will be too slow. By the time anyone coordinates enough proof of anger and does something, the election will be over.

NPR is on the radio right now!! Twenty four hours a day. They have already taken this position. They would be more impacted by a thousand emails quickly than any hope of getting Kerry a responsive free hour on cable by mailing the networks, or election commission.

Apparently they have already exposed this for what it was. We have the ability to let them know, we want them to keep up the pressure.

It's almost already too late. The next debate is Friday. But we can still force NPR to keep that shameless commandeering of the airwaves alive.
