What Kerry should say when * attacks him as a "tax and spend liberal"
He will do it. It is part of his new stump speech associating Kerry as a typical Massachusetts tax and spend liberal.

What I think Kerry should say when the chimp does this:
"If you are associating me with President John F. Kennedy then I accept the comparison because under his administartion, we created millions of new jobs, he passed a tax cut which helped the middle class and people had hope again. We also know the record of presidents named Bush. Lost jobs, diminishing incomes, rising poverty, rising health care costs and more people losing their coverage. Not to mention a massive debt left for our children to pay.
Like that great president from Massachusetts, John F. Kennedy, I say, "Let's get this country moving again."

1. That or...
As opposed to your administration, which seems to understand just the 'spend' part of that equation. Who's going to pay for all the debts you've incurred??

7. How odd to hear a tired, old slur from a man who's mortgaging our future.
"Tax-and-spend liberal? That's so... 1980s."

11. debt and spend Republican
just like the $87 billion dollars which Bush threatoned to veto unless it was deficit spending only, the Republicans don't have the balls to raise enough funds to pay for their programs. Republicans control every single branch of the Federal government and they are failing fiscally.

12. You just hit his new "terror" approach right on the head.......
On the war/foreign front he used "terror" to scare people. The economic "terror" alert will be TAXES/LIBERAL/TAXES/LIBERAL. All they know is how to bray and accuse because he has shit to offer or to stand on.

16. Call him a "Borrow & Spend" irresponsible disaster
And point out that in 3 years we went from a record surplus to a record deficit.

Point out that the Republicans control the House, Senate & Presidency.

Point out that Bush has vetoed NOT ONE SINGLE SPENDING BILL in his entire presidency.

This is almost too easy.

your idea of RESPONSIBLE fiscal management? Is that how things work in the world of fantasy and spin?

18. Kerry should say this
I couldn't be a tax and spend liberal even if I wanted to be. There is nothing left to spend because you've already spent it all. And there is nothing left to tax because you've drained a million jobs from this country.
