We're sorry that
-we killed more than 16,000 of you and yours -bombed your cities and businesses -terrorized your children nightly -took out electricity, sewers and potable water -built Internet cafes when we should have removed mines from roads -kept women indoors scared of getting raped -let looters steal precious historic books and artifacts -arrested thousands of civilians in your homes -tortured you and yours in Saddam's old prisons -replaced one dictator with one of our own choosing
This wasn't done in our names, but we apologize many times over for invading your country.

We had absolutely no right to invade that country and harm those people. Te conduct of most of the people at the Top of the White House down to a few of the Ground Troops is a huge embarrassment to me, this country and the World.
The only moral thing we can do now is change the leadership here and ask the Iraqi people to forgive us and if they want, help them repair their war torn country. Then, and only then, will the use of our soldiers be noble.
No Really…God Bless America and the REST OF THE WORLD

I am very sorry for what has happened to the people of Iraq.
I did not vote the people in who called for these atrocities. It was not in my name! Our current President was appointed, not elected.
I hope that we can change this situation for you and bring you peace and healing soon. Though it is now to late to prevent it from starting, we are making an effort here to elect people who will be more capable of trying to improve the situation with concern and intent.
We do have compassion here, though it may not seem like it to you. Our hearts go out to you and yours. May Allah smile upon you and protect you all.

5. Everyone in America should be apologizing to Iraqis |
|
How would you feel and react to being invaded by a much stronger country? We felt a bit of that on 9/11. We've killed more Iraqi citizens than died on Sept. 11. We would be insurgents if invaded. Every armed person would defend ourselves. Put yourselves in their shoes. Imagine the bombs, helicopters, planes, home invasions, deaths....
We owe them an apology even if you think life may get back to "normal" or even improve over time. For now, it's hell and the odds are that there will be a civil war or at the least Allawi will have death squads to contain the insurgency.
I'm angry, why aren't you?

I've been pissed off for years about this. I knew this war would come to no good end for the Iraqis, the U.S. and the world. But when millions of us march in the streets only to get called a focus group, it sure makes it difficult to get the word out.
Rot in hell, BushCo.
