CNN SUNDAY: ... just shut up, Joe
I'm not even going into all the crap Joe is saying about basically everyone. Just shut up and go away, Joe.

4. Isn't it pleasant the way he is attempting to redefine Roe V Wade
AND give Bush more cover on the lack of WMD?

from Sunday's ABC Note:

"Questioned about his recent abortion comments, Lieberman said that Roe v. Wade is still the framework but that advances in science are offering new insight into when fetal viability begins."

5. Primary Challenge
I dont want to do anything to take away a Democratic seat in the Senate, but seems that Connecticut would go Democratic anyway ... so after we take back the White House next year why don't we get some progressives in primaries so we can take back the Senate too.

6. Don't think Connecticut would be a problem in '06 if we did that
The Rowland scandel is going to hurt Repugs in that state for a number of years.

9. Rowland is 'Ryanizing' CT...
former Gov. George Ryan sunk the Repukes in IL for at least 5 years, and Rowlnad is doing the same in CT.

10. I agree.
Connecticut needs to throw his sorry arse out. He's trouble. When I heard him today he said virtually nothing against *, just the Dem candidates!

7. I'm not too worried about this issue with regards to Lieberman...
As far as I know, non-Messianic Jews are almost universally pro-choice, and abortion is one area where Lieberman's been on our side.

8. The fetal science reports that I've read about say that
fetus viability begins around the 3rd Trimester. Before that stage about 70% of zygotes and embryos are aborted naturally. What the Reichwing is doing is making it as difficult as they can both, legally and through smear tactics, for women and teens to get birth control because the Reichwing interprets birth control to be abortion as well.

Personally, this feminist thinks that the US should follow most of Europe's example -- abortion and birth control are available without legal restriction during the first 2 trimesters but after the 3rd trimester begins, abortion should be restricted to only be allowed under certain circumstances -- save a mother's life and to terminate a fetus with deformaties that severly limit an unborn's chance of survival outside the womb.

12. Agreed, I have read similar
what flips me off is when a man like Joe inserts his big foot and uses the broad brush of science to state half truth nonsense to score points with the middle. Grrrrr. and I subscribe to the Euro view, too.

13. He's got criticism for every Dem
Edited on Sun Jan-11-04 04:02 PM by JNelson6563
It's almost like he's trying to rally support for Jr.

I'm glad to see yet another issue we supporters of various candidates can agree on. Much more of this and it might seem like we are on the same team or something. ;-)

16. The worst thing Al Gore ever did
was giving Sen. Lieberman a national voice. I've never met a single Leiberman supporter in the real world.

Great toon though! Thanks for sharing it mouse7!
