No wonder the Republicans keep losing
On the O.C. Blog they are talking about who should replace Chris Cox and at first they lined behind State Senator Ackerman. When Ackerman did not support Senator John Campbell to replace his in his leadership position, Campbell announced that he would run and Ackerman withdrew.

Now, Campbell is considered "moderate" - whatever that means in Orange County. But he is from the district, was elected twice to the assembly and last year to the senate. So he is favorite. But the RWers are agog and want to draft Rogan! who lives in Orange County but not in Cox's district. They say that one does not have to... which is news to me. Why have districts, then?

Or, they would love B-1 Bob Dornan!

What they really are scared is Marylin Brewer, a former Assembly woman who, gasp, is pro-choice.

And they wonder why they keep losing state-wide elections, why their only high visibility post is by someone who, yes, is pro-choice and a moderate.

1. How about Sandy Cohen?
Oh wait, that's just a TV show.
