I read it in the Pacifica Tribune today. She is kicking off a fundraiser in our fair city. I think she has an excellent chance of winning! I had kinda hoped we could get her to run against DIFI. Guess not.........oh well we will find someone, I hope.....

1. I thought Cindy Sheehan was going to run for Di Fi's seat
I wrote Medea Benjamin to ask if she was going to run again, and that's what she told me.

2. I sure hope you are right, she is a lovely woman! n/t
Besides, how do they trash a mother who's son paid the ultimate price. If you find out for sure, please let us all know.

8. Would you start a thread about Cindy
and tell us her agenda? She's an interesting alternative.

6. Yes she was wounded, and one of the few
to survive. Maybe after she has been govenor, we can get her to run for the DIFI senate seat! I know it's way off. I met Jackie last year at the pacifica pier, where my husband and I were taking our usual walk. She was presenting a check to the Mayor for 500,000 to repair the pacifica pier. This was when Grey Davis was still govenor. She seems to be a very down to earth person, and we sure appreciated her involvment in renovating our pier. GOOOOO JACKIE!!!

10. I prefer John Garamendi
His head and heart are in the right place. I was hoping that Speier would go for Insurance Commissioner to protect the Department of Insurance from Cruz Bustamonte.

14. DIFI is not going anywhere
Unless she drops dead or suddenly decides to not run again, she's in for another 6 years, and that's fine with me.

I think our energies need to go toward defeating Repugs, not toward trying to replace Dems who aren't perfect.

Dianne will run, Dianne will win. Focus on defeating Arnold.
