Question for California DUers
I am at the Westin Century Plaza on business; is there a good Mexican restaurant nearby here in Century City?

1. If you have the time
go to Olvera Street on Alameda across from Union Station. They have THE best taquitos in the world with a sauce that is absolute heaven.
Have fun!

2. How far is it from Century City?
All these different city names, within the same city, are very confusing to this Michigander!

And I know LA can be confusing. What you just described is why LA gets a bad rap as 'not having a heart'. Well, we say 'It has many'.

4. the best cuban restaurant in town is right down the road
Versailles in Culver City.

It's well worth the short cab ride, it's cheap, and I've seen celebrities about every third time I've gone there (if you care about that sort of thing.

5. Saw Shaq in the lobby of the hotel tonight...
Magic Johnson (of whom I've known since jr. high; he is from two towns over and we got reports of his basketball feats even then) hosted a charity auction in our hotel, attended by Will Smith, Kobe, and Beyonce among others. I wasn't hovering outside looking for glimpses but must say that there was an impressive array of limos clogging the front drive; that's something you don't see in Michigan too often!

Thanks for the restaurant ideas; I love Mexican food and figure I'm in the right place for the real thing!
