May be taking a trip to San Francisco in Sept. Anyone know |

of any reasonable hotels near Union Square to stay (by reasonable I mean below $150, or is that a joke?)? I went onto AAA, and got sticker shock! Any help would be appreciated.

You can get a very nice Union Square hotel like the Renaissance Parc 55, the SF Hilton or Villa Florence for under $100 a night. Just bid on a four- or three-star in the Union Square area (I would bid about $75)

Check out a restaurant called Delancey Street. It's associated with a halfway house, and the residents work the kitchen, tables, everything. Food is great -- try the cheeseburgers with Gorgonzola and Fontina cheeses!
