Let's urge all our congresspeople

to sign Rep. John Conyers' letter to Bush urging him to meet with Cindy Sheehan. I just called my congressman's office (Mike Thompson) and was told (although I already know) that Congress is in recess and maybe Mr. Thompson hasn't heard about this effort. I suggested that the office staff inform him as there are approximately 30 other congress people who have signed the letter and they too, are in recess right now. I wish I could say that I can count on my congressman but I find that I frequently have to bug him to do right. Can you say repug-lite?
