Act Now - Don't Let the Governor Veto the Civil Marriage Act

California has always been a society that has marched toward more civil liberty, more inclusion, more equity for all our citizens.

California has the opportunity to lead the nation in granting equal rights to all citizens by adopting the Civil Marriage and Religious Freedom Protection Act.

This is a critical time in our history and we must do what is right. As recently as the late-1940's interracial marriages were banned in the US - until California lifted its ban, thus leading the way to ending many decades of discrimination. California must continue to be at the forefront in the great fight against discrimination of any kind.

Signing this bill would move California forward on the right side of history.
