There were four great Democrats running today. Now, everyone needs to back Steve. Steve is a liberal Democrat who opposes NAFTA and the WTO and who wants to get us out of Iraq. He's liberal on the other issues, too and he's exactly what we need. As for those who liked Republican Brewer, she's out. So get behind Steve.

2. The 48th is in Orange County?
Good luck with that. If any Democrat wins I'll believe in miracles.

5. There are about 100,000 registered Democrats in the district
Only 80,000 voted in this open primary http://www.ocgov.com/election/live/e26/results.htm

So, yes, in theory, Steve Young can win, even if for only one term. You know that the wolves will come out in 2006.

4. Sam decided to become a lawyer for a season
then dropped off the face of the earth, perhaps to restart his career in underage porno.

8. You need to add Brewer's, Graham's, Foster's & Pallow's totals to Steve's
PPA backed Brewer and told Dems to trust her. Graham and Foster had run before and Foster had the best signs. If Steve increases his margin, just a little, he's got a good shot. Gilchrist forces are expected to beef up their support in the next two months and they will only take from Campbell.

9. Steve Young is a great candidate!
I've met him several times and he has spoken at the Meetups that I attend. I don't live in the 48th(I live in Santa Ana) but I am behind him 100%. A major advantage for us is that the conservative vote will be split between Campbell and Gilchrist.
