My latest letter to Senator Boxer |
|
Dear Senator Boxer,
I’m writing to urge you to retract your request that the administration be more proactive in preparing for a possible flu epidemic.
The president said in his latest press conference that measures to stem the spread of the flu virus would include using the military to quarantine entire cities. That would of course mean placing the county under martial law
Senator, I would much rather take my chances with the flu, than give the fascists in this administration another opportunity to destroy what little freedom Americans have left.
The country has way bigger problems than a virus that has infected a few Asian chicken farmers. The only thing this administration should be proactive about is getting the hell out of Iraq.
Sincerely, MP

While we should all be aware it's out there, this flu seems to be one big distraction that many are trying to capitalize on. So our gov't is worried; what do they have up their sleeve, if anything, to 'fix' it, other than more fear tactics? Your line, "That would of course mean placing the county under martial law"...you might want to change county to country...
