WASHINGTON - They have no constitutional role to play in whether Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers is confirmed, but the Sacramento area's two leading Republican House members, both conservatives, said they are deeply disappointed and worried by President Bush's selection of her.
Reps. Dan Lungren, R-Gold River, and John Doolittle, R-Roseville, are both attorneys. Lungren served eight years as California attorney general. Doolittle, a member of the House Republican leadership, serves as its liaison to the chamber's most conservative members.

they voted for a so called "conservative" in gwb, and now they are really pissed that gwb is more of a dictator than anything. Bush is really damn far from being a conservative...he blows the I beleive in god trumpet a lot, but its nothing more than grandstading horse manure, and now people are seeing that, its about tiem, that conservatives see, that gwb is far from conservative.
