Earthquakes
Does Northern California have many earthquakes. Specifically does the area of Arcata, California have very many earthquakes.

I've been running away from earthquakes all my life and finally realized it's impossible. Earthquakes can happen anywhere. One of the perks of living in California is that because of the frequency of our quakes, our buildings, bridges and roads are much safer because they keep building to earthquake standards and attempt to retrofit older structures for the same.
