My union just called; *vote NO on all of these faux propositions!* |
|
They were urging me to vote NO on 75. I told them I had already voted and I had voted NO on all of these faux "propositions". The person I spoke with said, "I did the same thing". We talked a bit longer and we agreed that if you don't fully and completely understand what you are voting YES on, the best thing to do is to vote NO.
We talked briefly about the drug initiatives and I told the union person that that is really a crock acting "as if" it might help with generic drugs, etc. The person agreed with me and said, yeah we've seen the results of mail order RX drugs haven't we? I just said yep, they are good for 6 months possibly and they are likely expired and repackaged when you get them in the mail with no tracking whatsoever and also there are no numbers on the labels to trace their origin from.
Think twice about voting YES on any of these faux propositions is my message to you Californians! Don't be fooled again!!

Lots of legal jargon in them and it was not clear to me at all and I already know what the drug thing is about sadly. It is a SCAM.

79 and 80 aren't Arnie's props... Also, 78 and 79 are "competing" against each other. You can double your efforts to make sure that 78 doesn't win by voting for 79 as well as voting no on 78. Even if 78 passes, if 79 gets more votes, then 79 is what is put into law. You can bet that all of Arnie's supporters are "paying back" the pharma companies to vote for 78.
No on 75 is critical, as the polls are close on this one, and this is directly trying to limit the Dems power by trying to muzzle the Union vote, without likewise limiting "corporate persons" in the same fashion. No on 77 in my mind is also critical. Though the polls show that this will probably lose, I wouldn't take it for granted. Arnie and his people are pouring tons of money in this one proposition that is their most strategic prop in the list. If they can "sneak up" on us with this one, they will try.
