"For one brief, not so shining moment today, Dan Lungren had on his re-election website an invitation to all of us to attend a fundraiser on his behalf featuring his “special honored guest,” none other than the honorable Dick Cheney. The fundraiser is being held on Friday, April 11, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Luchetti Ranch, 9300 Dillard Road, in Wilton. The invitation vanished from the Lungren website shortly after it was posted. Just in case you’d like to attend, though, a scanned printout from the website is attached, complete with RSVP information. (If you check the “Events” page of the Lungren website at the time of this writing, nothing – absolutely nothing – is listed.)"
