Help fight the Religious Right in Orange County! Attend the AU Barry Lynn fundraising event Monday
night!

An Evening with Rev. Barry Lynn
Monday April 7, 2008
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 2200 San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Beach, CA 92660

This is an opportunity for Orange County members to meet Barry Lynn, Executive Director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. Join us for an inspirational talk by Barry Lynn on the ongoing work of AU and current cases being fought to preserve religious liberty and church/state separation. Learn about the vital need for legislative activism to preserve our nation's secular foundation.

The 2008 Primary Election season is in full force, and the religious right is actively trying to influence those elections. Learn what AU is doing to fight illegal campaigning from the pulpit, and what you can do in your neighborhood to preserve the separation of church and state.

Also take this opportunity to purchase an autographed copy of "Piety and Politics," in which Barry Lynn shows how the religious right's dream is a nightmare for America.
This will be the progressive A-List event of the year.

This fund raising event will allow us to continue our work in Orange County.
Members: $20
Non-Members: $35 (I think there may be tickets available at the door for $20)
For information contact: Steph Campbell, (714) 299-4551, or e-mail orangecountyau@yahoo.com.
