1. Good that the classical station, XLNC1, has now completely moved to 104.9 |

I am a classical music lover, and it was very unfortunate that XLNC1, the classical station which is intended to serve San Diego, had the frequency assignment of 90.7, the same frequency as the progressive station KPFK in Los Angeles.
I live in the northern part of the city of San Diego, and when I would try listening to XLNC1 in my car, I would sometimes get XLNC1 and sometimes KPFK, which was very annoying.
XLNC1 went to 104.9 last February so that I was able to listen to it, but it seems they also had to stay at 90.7 for a while longer while they were working out some things at the new frequency. I am glad they are now finally off 90.7, and that KPFK can now be heard in Orange and San Diego County without interference. And I am glad to be able to listen to and enjoy classical music on XLNC1 without interference.
I usually prefer to listen to music rather than talk radio, but I might give KPFK a try, since I can now listen to it without interference.
