California governor to receive public service award in Texas

California governor to receive public service award in Texas

COLLEGE STATION, Texas California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will travel to Texas next month to receive a public service award from former President Bush.

Presentation of the George Bush Award for Excellence in Public Service will accompany the movie star politician's address on November 30th at Texas A and M (A and M) University's Rudder Auditorium.

Schwarzenegger will join United States Senator Edward Kennedy, former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev and former German chancellor Helmut Kohl as recipients of the George Bush Award for Excellence in Public Service.

After the award presentation, former President Bush plans to honor Schwarzenegger at a private dinner with about 250 (two-hundred-fifty) people at his library's rotunda.

4. Sh*t, the Aggies will probably burn a virgin at the stake to celebrate
the Gropenfuhrer's glorious presence on campus. Don't know where they'll find one though, they may have to outsource the search.

5. And he deserves this award because.....?
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 05:42 PM by Gman
Has he been in office a year?? The Schwartz deserves to be considered in the same company as Ted Kennedy, Mikhail Gorbachev and Helmut Kohl because....???? Why??

Because they want to change the constitution and let this guy run for president in '08? Was this Karl Rove's idea? The award has been significantly cheapened by this.

6. In Texas?
Our governor does something (What?? Using star "power" to derail a legitimately elected governor? Buddying up to Enron? Giving * a foot in the door here in CA? What???) to earn a public service award from the POTUS and he can't even present it in his own state?

Looks like the Bush campaign has written CA and our 55 electoral votes off.
