San Diego County - How'd it go? |
|
I had a 40 minute wait this morning in Ocean Beach arriving at 7:30am.
Lots of people in the 25-35 age range but they are the dominant populace here.
How did everyone else do?

There was about a 30 minute wait for the early voting. We were waiting to hear our name called and reporter came over to the table (about 7 people... we didn't know one another, just all sat in the same palce). The reporter was doing a story on write ins and asked if anyone was planning on writing in Donna Frye. Interestingly enough, EVERYONE at the table raised their hand and then we all laughed, realized in SD it was a table full of Dems.

and Chula Vista. I voted absentee two weeks ago, so I can't say what's going on at my polling place. I'll take a walk over there later, and check it out.

10 a.m. No line at all. Only half the booths were taken.
Poll workers said the rush would be this evening.
Found a conservative group's voting guide in my voting booth. When reported to the poll workers, they sprang into action getting rid of it.
Don't know if it was intentional or accidentally left behind.
No other problems, no line, nothing.

And I've *never* seen a line at all at my polling station, much less one that long.

in Claremont near Tecolote Canyon around 9:30. I had never waited to vote in my life. One of the poll workers said it had been just like that since they opened.
I also noticed younger poll workers and more ethnic diversity among them as well.
This kind of involvement is a very good sign.

No problem or wait in Mira Mesa today, about 12:30. My polling place was at a middle school.
