Is anyone going to the Breakfast with Kucinich at Greens this Sunday? It's really amazing how this guy got reelected in Ohio. He just keeps on keeping on.

Is really incredible. First time I've ever seen him. His eyes show the sort of compassion rarely seen in a political figure. His message was one of hope and joy. And funny. And realistic. Someone got up and talked about impeachment of administration for 9/11 errors, and he said righteous indignation is good, but you have to know how to add...it just won't happen...not with a republican majority in congress. After all he was just elected to his 5th term in congress, running on a program that included choice, gay rights and of all things...Peace. He listened to questions and gave thoughtful, non politician kinds of answers. "This is something I would only say in the Bay Area... Our task is to raise the consciousness of the American people to the heart chakra from the gut chakra." Amazing

3. If you read or listen through the lines, |
|
you see enlightenment even when he isn't in the Bay Area. I've never belonged to a political party before; I became a Democrat specifically to cast my vote for him in our primary. For all of the reasons you just illustrated. Knowing that we have such a person in Congress gives me hope.

7. I certainly don't hate him |
|
But I certainly find it amusing when people try to build up people into things that they aren't. There really isn't anything amazing about a Democratic incumbent being reelected in an overwhelmingly Democratic district when only facing token opposition.

8. More predictable than amazing, I think |
|
However, that does not detract from the basic fact that he is an amazing person. I'm on board for any project he wants to undertake.
