I am just wondering if anybody has noticed the unusual lack of rain for the time of year (or at least compared to last year) throughout the state of California. We also saw it take forever for the temperatures to drop to where they are now. What is going on here? When is this going to end? Is this common weather.
Writing out of the bay area.

Which is the ugly red part of the CA map. However, it drizzled today--a sprinkly, misty shower of sorts. It was a weird cold today though.
Our summer here in Bako was unusually temperate, and not in the 100+ range like usual, so.....that weirdness was in our favor.

we're above average for rainfall, so far. It's beautiful out right now, but I hope the rains return soon.
