2005-2007 Assembly District Committee Reorganization

Every two years, in the January after the election, the State Party Assembly District Committees hold their reorganization meeting. Each Assembly District Committee meets to elect its officers and twelve representatives to the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC). These twelve DSCC representatives will be members of the State Party governing board for a two year term, and will attend the annual State Party Conventions. The Convention for 2005 is currently scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on April 15-17, 2005.

Below is information on when and where each Assembly District Committee will meet, as well as contact information. The committees vary as to membership requirements and it is best to contact them directly to find out how to become more involved.
