Is anyone else suspicious of Arnold's faith in ballot initiatives? |
|
How is it in a mostly democratic state, a republican muscle head can get his ballot measures passed?
Kevin Shelley gave us an excellent start on cleaning up our election system, but if Arnold likes it, there's got to be a few Roves left to work out.

1. Ballot Initiatives will get paid media coverage, i.e. commercials, |
|
the only information most Californians will get on initiatives. It is much easier to sway voters with the media than to get the predominantly Democratic legislators to support Arnold's agenda.

2. Why do you think he's so anxious to get Diebold in California |
|
And why his buddies in Washington are trying to take down California Dems who oppose hack box voting?
Once they control the voting machines, the voters don't matter anymore.

4. Not really. What else has he got? |
|
The legislature is not going to do whatever he likes. He has no cards to play but media control and ballot shenanigans.
