Middle East Rant

Having to type with just my left hand, (since my right wrist is in a heavy cast), is slowing me down & frustating me enormously, because there is a lot I'd like to say, but it just takes soooooooooo much longer to make a post. So I have to go for one-liners...

McWorld creates Jihad. The reactionary governments in the Middle East oppress & exploit their people, so they redirect the frustrations outward against us, hiding the fact that they are in collusion with McWorld, who is doing the same thing to us...

The extreme Islamic Fundamentalists & the extreme Christian Fundamentalists are nearly identical in their thinking. Both have used terrorism to get their way. Their fight against each other mostly hurts the people who would prefer peace.

Our troops are very representative of what we are like as a people. Some are heroic, most are average, and a few are dispicable. Put them in extreme circumstances, & everything hidden within them will come out....

I could phrase this more eloquently & politely, but I have severe time constrains at the moment. Please just look at what I'm getting at, rather than picking apart my generalizations. OK?

Being new to the board, I was concerned that my rant might ruffle feathers. Usually, I'm very calm, because I'm a New Age Mystic... However, I'm also a Radical, who votes for Democrats, because I've become result-oriented in my "old age" of 53. Better to keep things moving towards the goal, rather than to be a purist ideologue like Ralph Nader, & become counter-productive...
