4. Thanks for clarifying. I thought so but wasn't sure. I grew up in LA but |
|
live out of state now. I was born at White Memorial Hospital and many of my relatives are buried at Evergreen Cemetary on Michigan.

7. Drove by there recently |

On my way to El Tepeyac, they have built a cool looking red running track around the parameter replacing the cracked sidewalk. Me and my Ex used to live on Evergreen and my friends and neighbors would use the cemetery for walks and jogs, because it is one mile a lap. (I was born at the old Japanese Hospital which I think was located where White Memorial now is)

Geesh, if you know the political drama that's occuring right now in East LA, Montebello, and Monterey Park; it's like some soap opera down here!!! That's why I hang out on the west side... to deal with the "typical" "normal" issues... if LA can be called normal. Still the multicultural oasis I call the eastside is still here and loving it. It's the place where the vatos eat sashimi from Ensenada with the Hawaiians, the latino asians from Peru, peeps get some Boba, and hang out at King Taco right down from the Buddist Temple.
