Kerry supporters in DuPage County--I have 6 bumper stickers |
|
left. If you need one, PM me.
Last Sunday I had to make a beer run to Osco's and as I was pulling out of the parking spot, this lady that had pulled up next to me looks at me and gives me the  !!! We talked a bit and she asked where I got my stickers (one on front and one on back). I told her www.kerrygear.com but warned that it takes about a week. Gave her my phone number if she wanted one of mine.
Then a couple of days later at the gas station, I see another woman with a Kerry and Obama sticker. I walked up to her and said, "I have mind on both the front and the back." We talked (SHE said it's really scary...meaning the thought of Bush).
But today was the most encouraging yet! I count the B/C vs. Kerry stickers and it's usually pretty close or maybe Kerry up by one or two. (This is Republican central here folks, with Hastert's homebase a few miles down the road.) I saw at least seven cars with Kerry stickers and only ONE Bush sticker!
For whatever reasons, the cars don't seem to be sporting stickers of any kind. Maybe they don't want to distract from the beauty of their Lexus/BMW/SUVs. LOL! But now, the B/C :puke: yard signs are really starting to appear. It's important we SHOW our support! So, if you need a sticker, let me know!

that said: Support our troops Vote Bush Out!
Made my effing day! I ordered one online immediately and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I'm surrounded by those damned "Support our troops and President Bush" yard signs :puke:

2. Oh do I ever know what you mean. I'm in Naperville |
|
Repukes all over the place like damned cockroaches. There is one house down the block that has only one sign on the lawn...Keyes. How many people in this state have Keyes signs on their lawns? But I think it shows the really "zealot" type thinking of some people in this county.

3. Finding Keyes signs in specific towns... |
|
We have specific towns that are prime locations for Keyes signs--we refer to them as "GOP Black Holes." Typically, at least down here, they are towns with a high number of folks who are into that whole white flight/Yuppie "abandon the city" mindset.
I have to wonder how bitter is it for them that the GOP put an African American candidate on the ticket...

4. Haven't been home to Charleston |
|
since this summer but it wouldn't surprise me if my Dad's got a Bush and Keyes sign up somewhere.
He finally took me off his email grouplist (after several requests) and then telling him in no uncertain terms that I'm voting for Kerry and that's not going to change. Furthermore, if he's going to label everything I send him in response as a source that's not credible and not have the courtesy to read them, then I would block him. Now, I don't hear anything. Suggests to me that he has nothing to needle me with because he just can't help himself.

we're going to pass each other on the street and not even realize it. :hi:
From what you posted earlier, you're literally about 5 minutes from me.
