I was surprised at their numbers...especially in these parts (Naperville). The chair has been on maternity leave and, to be honest, I was becoming really frustrated at their seeming lack of initiatives.

I had just joined up with them a few months ago. Unfortunately, the monthly meeting is the same night as a required student/parent meeting at my daughter's school.

Since the chair's come back on duty, she's gotten things moving...fast! I'm getting email updates and encouragement on almost a daily basis. Dems in this county aren't going to turn things around overnight. We all are realistic about it. But we're also making alot of progress! :)
