I canceled my subscription and they sent me a letter begging me to subscribe again. Something about "Political differences should not have to end our relationship anymore than a political difference with an old friend."

I think the Sun-Times is more centrist, though they still don't cover many things that are important to Democrats (i.e. the Ohio recount).

The Belleville News-Democrat is about as right-wing of a rag as I've seen. Actually makes the Tribune look fairly moderate.
