you just can't build someone up that high, and have them stay there. and so much of what people thought about him is their own projections.
the guy is smart, and a lot of other great things, but he is not a boat rocker, folks. in fact, i think useless boat rocking is on the top of his list of things to not do.
he is a clinton-esque guy, moderate, respectful, intelligent, and finder of common ground. i'm sure that at least 10-20% of DUers will hate his guts before the year is out.
fwiw, the rest of us will still love him, and support his presidential candidacy.
