"O'FALLON - Residents will decide this April whether O'Fallon is ready for a second high school.

During a school board meeting Thursday night, District 203 board members voted 7-1 to place a $52.3 million bond referendum for a second high school on the April 5 ballot.

If voters approve the referendum, a person with a $150,000 house would pay an extra $105 a year in property taxes.

These bonds would be issued over a five-year period. The five-year period begins once the school district draws from the bonds."
