How long are alderman terms? 4 years?
The only Republican alderman is Brian Doherty in the 41st ward, right?
It's really hard to find this stuff on google. I found a great article about it, but it was written on October 23rd, 2003, a couple of days before a potential election. I want to make sure I have this info right.

Technically, Chicago's elections are now non-partisan. But yes, Doherty is the only admitted GOPer in the council.
Consider though, that the GOP/Dem lines in the northwest side/near northwest suburbs are VERY blurry. A lot of weird and fascinating cross-pollination between the Chicago-DesPlaines-Niles-Rosemont folks.
