Why were Nocioni, Piatkowski, and Pargo
Edited on Thu Jan-27-05 10:55 PM by Heaven and Earth
the Bulls top scorers tonight? I am glad that they won (against the Charlotte Bobcats) again, but what the hell? Did they decide to play the bench a lot just for the hell of it?

Anyway, the Bulls are now tied with Orlando for the sixth seed in the playoffs. This is the seed the Bulls want, because they would play the Atlantic Division champion, and the Atlantic Division this year has been called "the worst division in history" Can you say first round playoff win for the Bulls?

1. It's encouraging
They play up to the competition, and down to the competition as well. And they win.

2. Ben Gordon only got 5 minutes?
Is he injured? He scored six points in five minutes so it's not like he was doing terrible or anything either. The only thing that I can think of is the fact that they played 5 games in the last 8 days. That's alot. Maybe the Bulls had control of the game so Skiles rested the best players? I can't think of anything else.

5 wins in a row and they have won 13 of their last 15 games. That is amazing. Their Febuary is insane though. It starts off with a 13 day road trip to New Jersey, Miami, Dallas, Houston, and Minnesota. Then the last half of the month they switch off Home-Away with Sacramento, Toronto, Miami, Cleveland, Washington, and Charlotte. The only sub-.500 teams are Toronto and Charlotte. Something tells me we'll know if this team is for real come March 1st.

4. Seriously
It has been too long. The Bulls are the fifth best team in the East. However, if the playoffs started today, they would get the sixth spot because the Celtics suck but they are on top of the Atlantic.
