Chicago Sun-Times: Upscale car wash a contrast but no concern to rival
http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-carwash31.html

"One looked like a Starbucks or Caribou, with a hip-colored waiting room, leather chairs and glossy magazines.

The other was more traditional, with air fresheners, greeting cards and a hodgepodge of other items for sale in the lobby.

These were the hot spots near the bustling corner of Clybourn, Southport and Shakespeare in west Lincoln Park on Sunday afternoon. With sunny skies and temperatures around 40, the BMWs, Mercedes and Lexuses came rolling in -- their owners looking to rid them of the salt-and-grime aftermath of a Chicago snowstorm.

But this year, the car-wash scene just south of the busy Webster Place Theaters is different."

The upscale car wash offers neck massages? That's not a car wash. If I had a car, I'd take it to the other place. No need fancy car wash for me. Thank you.
