Come and support Barack on Saturday at the Kane County Fair in St. Charles
Barack Obama will present the "Grand Champion Steer All Breeds Award" at the Kane County Fair on Saturday, July 17th, at the Show Arena. The award should be presented around 12:30 p.m. You will probably want to arrive around noon.
This award represents the "best of the best" . . . just like our next U.S. Senator, Mike Dit....I mean Barack Obama.
Please note that the Show Arena is different than the Grandstand Arena. You can follow the signs to the Show Arena or ask a fair volunteer.
Following the presentation (or prior if you wish), please join other Democrats over at the Kane County Democrats' booth. You can meet other Democratic candidates and elected officials including State Rep. Linda Chapa LaVia; Ruben Zamora, candidate for the 13th Cong. Dist.; Bonnie Kunkel, candidate for County Board Dist. 4; and many other candidates for countywide and county board seats.
The Kane County Democrats booth is located in Booth 36 in Trade Building #1. I have been told that Trade Building #1 is near Gate 2 and is clearly marked. However, if you have any questions, you can follow the signs or ask a fair volunteer to direct you.
Please consider staying at the fair following the presentation (or, if you prefer, on Friday or Sunday as well) to help staff the Democratic booth, help distribute literature for Obama, Kerry, and the other candidates, and register new voters.
The Kane County Fairgrounds is located at 525 South Randall Road in St. Charles, just south of Rt. 64. You can view an e-map at:
