RAGBRAI takes northern route for 2005

Anyone ever participate? I've only helped out when they came through our town. No way I'm riding a bike all the way across Iowa.

1. Especially not in late July t when Heat and Humidity are both 100.

I grew up in Waterloo, IA (northeast Iowa) and I love my state.

However, riding a bike across Iowa in late July or August would probably kill me. That heat and humidity is good for swimming pool time, water skiing, and other water sports.

I've helped out too. It was a fund raising thing for the hospital.

At least until they start the ride, then they find out soon enough. They should encounter plenty this year.
