AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! King is insane
KING WON'T RULE OUT RUN AGAINST HARKIN

JOHNSTON, Iowa (AP) _ Iowa Congressman Steve King, a Republican, says he's working to build a statewide political organization that could lead to an eventual challenge to Democratic Senator Tom Harkin in 2008. King says building a statewide base also could give him more clout with G-O-P presidential candidates traveling to the state. Potential candidates already have begun testing the waters for Iowa's first-in-the-nation precinct caucuses. King spoke during a taping of Iowa Public Television's ``Iowa Press'' program airing later in the weekend. King, a Kiron Republican, is in his second term in the House, and has raised eyebrows by launching an aggressive travel schedule that takes him all over the state, well beyond the limits of the western Iowa 5th District that he represents. A sharp conservative, King would offer a major contrast to Harkin, who casts himself as a populist and critics label him a traditional liberal.

8. Oh, the 'frat hazing' comment reveals the depths of his evil...
Remember that, soon after Abu Gharib broke? He stated that the abuses were little more than 'frat hazing' in nature? I wrote his office a letter, asking what frat he went to that sodomized him with a flashlight, like at Abu Gharib.

Evil rotten scumbag.

7. County by county
State has approved list of machines to choose. I think some are E machines. My county is buying precinct scanners that return ballot to voter if it has an error like filling in the circle next to a democrat.

9. Wonder what his ties to Delay are, $$$ wise.
Meanwhile, Iowa's 5th district is getting pisspoor representation from a power crazed man spending most of his time running for higher office, which he doesn't stand a prayer of winning.

He breaks the laws of physics. Delay's ass and King's lips occupy the same space at the same time.

12. The silver lining...
With how nuts King is (and OHHH HE IS), this could help not only Harkin win big but the Dem candidate for President as well.

Oh and the debates will be fun -- King walked out of what was supposed to be a debate with Schulte.

That means that, if he runs for Senate in 2008, we'll get a new Congressman! THANK GOODNESS!

16. Did you know?
King made his money with a dirt moving business that built a lot of terraces and other conservation projects for western Iowa farmers paid for with tax dollars. So Mr. Smaller Government talks the talk, but still wants to eat at the government trough.

Mr. King also is a war hawk that got married and started a family right out high school rather than face the draft. No member of his extended family has served in the military and put their life on the line.

But King is not crazy. He has just perfected the politics of divide and conquer. He knew in the primary when he first ran for Congress that no one would get enough votes, so he spent ALL his time kissing up the potential delegates to a nominating convention. It worked. He is only mean and rude to those who disagree with him. Like a lot of right wing Republicans, he can be all sweetness and light in a room full of little old ladies.

Fascist is an over used term today, but it truly applies to Steve King. If King is talking about taking on Tom Harkin, he is probably looking at Grassley's seat in 2010. Get ready for US Senators Tom Harkin and Steve King.
