Reminder! If you haven't voted in the DFA poll |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-23-05 05:03 PM by rurallib
it closes at 4PM Saturday. Help give David Loebsack(IA-02) and Bruce Braley (IA-01) a needed lift. Loebsack will have a 'David vs. Goliath' this fall against Leach. A DFA endorsement would be most welcome. http://tools.democracyforamerica.com/housevote/

And get rid of Delay's best friend, no not his dog, Lamar Smith newly appointed Ethics Committee member and proud $10,000 donor to the Delay Legal Defense fund.

6. Thanks. Done. A vote for Leach is essentially a vote for Tom Delay. |

7. Agreed, and yet he's able to pull the wool over so many Dem's eyes |
|
Don't let one vote cloud his entire record...he's a republican party hack period! the Second District deserves much better!

8. In the House, one member can't do jack. Whichever party is in the |
|
leadership is what determines everything.
I think we need to push Leach on this - if reelected, will you vote for Delay for ML? etc.
Wrap the crazy Leadership of the GOP around Leach's neck. If he doesn't agree with it, then he needs to go Independent (or Dem, ha).
Whether he agreed with the Congressional moves on the Schiavo fiasco or not, once he voted for Hastert and Delay, he gave them complete power over the House of Representatives.

10. Leach is running from Bush like Bush has a plague |
|
I think Loebsack may pull off a big upset in IA-02. Although, I don't think it should be considered an upset. I'd like to think it's the Dems in Ia-02 finally waking up to see what Leach has done for 30 years.
