1. Troubling.
Could it be because they are about 90% sure of a Vilsack run?

Cutting their losses already?

I sure hope not.

2. Yep. That and the calendar won't be decided until April 29 (I think)
and Iowa could still lose out (although we'll probably go first, no guarantee that New Mexico/South Carolina or whoever won't go the next day or two or three days right after making competing in Iowa pointless thanks to TV08!)

One more lost opportunity to make our state matter :shrug:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I did read that the first district republicans will be debating at the Black Hawk County republican caucus prior to them being convened. WISH I could see THAT! :bounce:

3. Regressive party pukes think they'll have a chance to move in

on the BushFamilyEvilEmpire and become head of the greatest crime family that has ever existed. They run the largest army and are virtually unfettered by laws and conventions. Taking over such a syndicate could keep a guy's family in the chips for mucho generations. I think that might be a big incentive.
edit to add: won't they be surprised when uncle Dick steps down so they can hand-pick the successor and make him VP (hint his dad was a football coach - won a super bowl. He's really pretty and dumb as a box of rocks and follows orders. Also won't have far to move from Virginia)
