David Wieland running in place of Willard Jenkins

I got a David Wieland for State House flyer tonight (I was doing some scouting at the GOP caucus in Black Hawk) and was wondering who the Dem candidate is going to be. Apparently Council at Large in Cedar Falls. Should I pass this along to someone?

Dave is a nice person who won his City Council seat with assistance from Democrats and also helped Democrats get elected in legislative seats (Bob Kressig). His opponent, I think her name is Doris Kelly, was introduced at the Democratic Caucus.

It will be an uphill battle for Democrats, and like I said Dave is a good person so he will get some cross-over support, the only thing I can think is that the Iowa GOP has messed up some nice moderate republican races (Steve Jordan/Frank Dowie) and that's fine by me, even a nice republican is a vote to keep Rants in power...ugh!
