Hey all...been pretty busy lately so I haven't been able to post as regularly, but here is something I got via email today that I thought was interesting. 2008 is coming quick!
Hope you're having a good week!

You can come to the spaghetti supper our church is holding at the same date and time (but in Cedar Falls)....only $8.00 a ticket (alas, no presidential wannabes will be attending) :(.
Hope whoever attends can report. :hi:

Bayh was at a fundraiser for Rep. Lisa Heddens a couple of months ago, and it cost nothing to get in (although a small contribution to the Heddens campaign was expected).
If you get a chance to speak with him, you should ask him about his continued support for the Iraq War. I told him I would campaign for him in Iowa if he would admit that Iraq was a mistake. He had a nice evasive answer, but it is clear that he is with Hillary, Warner and Vilsack on that issue. The DLC circle jerk. I knew he wouldn't budge, so I felt safe offering my campaign support.
But I like Bayh otherwise, and he is a nice guy (well, I suppose they all appear nice or they wouldn't have much hope of running for president). If you get a chance to meet him without paying for it, take the opportunity.
