Heads up, Iowa Clarkies...
Heard at the Linn County Central Committee meeting last night that Wes Clark is coming to the Teamster's Hall in CR on May 13th at 6:30pm. Tickets are $25.

I'll post more when I have more info. I'm not a huge Clark fan (I cannot get over his support of the SOA) but I think he'd be interesting to listen to.

1. Hot Damn!
Edited on Thu Feb-23-06 07:42 PM by IA_Seth
I guess I should have attended. I had to drag my love over to my pops and make him dinner and make sure he was all good (he is injured and will probably need surgery!)...

The last time I heard Wes speak was the day I decided to BE a Democrat. Not just register as one, but BE one...one of the ones that made a difference. He is inspiring, intelligent, and has a freakin plan.

I will definitely go, and will pay for someone else's ticket if they can't afford it.

On edit: Hey Maggie, could you IM me or PM me or respond and let me know who shared that info? I am assuming it was a Clark supporter, but I didn't get anything on the Clark list I am on. Very odd.

2. But....but....Seth, I thought you were all about Howard Dean

Hehe :hi: After all I've been hearing Clark say lately it should be a good speech.

3. Dean Shmean.
Lol.

I have to be honest and say I DO like Dean a lot more now in his current position than I liked him as a candidate, and I think his legacy as a candidate is that he did bring a lot of fresh faces to the party.

But Aaaaanyway. Back to the MAN, Mr Clark. You should come down and see him. It's over a month away, no excuses!

4. Actually May might just work
School activities will all be over with, church activities will all be over with and we may be looking for a reason to run away for a day. :) I hope we can make it.
