I Have confidence Iowa is going to be BLUE!! Although I live in the Iowa City area and it is typically very liberal, how are the other parts of the state looking???
I am Poll watching on Tuesday, I am really excited!
Whats everyone else up to to get out the vote? I am also wearing my Kerry shirt and buttons to hand out candy tonight!!! :-)

Checking in on my birth state where most of my family still lives. Thought I'd pass along some encouraging info for all Iowa DUers.
After breaking the 47% floor on 10/25/2004, bush* continues to lose ground to Kerry. And unlike where I am now, the Zogby polling data is consistent and understandable....
10/30/2004: Kerry 47.4% / bush* 45.9% 10/29/2004: Kerry 44.4% / bush* 44.6% 10/28/2004: Kerry 44.9% / bush* 43.9% 10/27/2004: Kerry 44.8% / bush* 45.2% 10/26/2004: Kerry 45.3% / bush* 44.8% 10/25/2004: Kerry 43.7% / bush* 47.4%
What is causing the shift to Kerry? The undecided are breaking heavily towards Kerry.
BTW: I know a few of your N.L. neighbors. Welcome to DU :hi:

In my yute I lived for a short time in the trailer park off the main highway. Don't know if it's still there. That's when N.L. was a one horse farm town and I know things have really changed there.

I'm in Johnson county is well. But, Iowa has a very high population of seniors, and I know a lot of them that are very unhappy with the Medicare and prescription drug costs situations.

On edit: This is post number 1,000 for me! Finally made it!

unofficial sign poll. At least 10 to 1 Kerry. Drove around Clinton yesterday, 6 Shrub signs and lost count of Kerry after 25. It was amazing!
