Which use to cover up turmoil with official bland reassurances! Seriously now, folks, I have no idea who will prevail but as I think I mentioned before, I am voting my conscience this time on the war and Gluba thus far is for immediate end to our involvement there. If the other candidates go to his position, then I would be be in rather a quandary myself.

I was just having flashbacks of 2002 when the national party shoved a candidate down our throats (like they just did in IL-06). I haven't seen any meddling in the race.
Although I agree with Gluba's stance on the war, I cannot agree with him on women's reproductive health care rights (in which he believes - very boastfully - that they have none).
However, if he's the nominee, he'll still be better than any of the right-wingers.

3. Please explain what you mean |

I guess some of us aren't as enlightened as you are. When the primaries are over and candidates are selected, this should be a national race with huge implications. I agree with Dickinson's statement, "If a Democrat can't win the First District, then there is little chance that Dems will take over the House." That is quite likely true, especially in light of the apparent Dem turmoil in Illinois 17, which has been a Dem stronghold since 1982. I also believe that no matter who our candidate is, he will recieve HUGE support from the DNC. They supposedly have already commited to $2 million. Anyway, back to the original question. What are you talking about in your post?
